Hi,

Can you provide a list of wordpress “event template” (free or $) that work well with eventespresso ?
I think that it will be a nice feature and interesting for both actual and future customers.

Thanks regards

While I’m not aware of any event templates that integrate with Event Espresso, in general any WordPress themes that have nice form styles and table styles will work look nice when used with Event Espresso. Another important thing is if the theme is built according to WordPress Theme development standards:

Thanks for your answer, I was more thinking about theme/template specially developed for events website like those :

I think that people who wants to build a WP event website with EE, will be looking for a specialized theme for events.
If you could make an inventory of those templates and see which one work well with EE, or contact the developer which should be happy to adapt their theme.
Displaying a “work well with EE” badge on those and providing a listing of them on your website should increase your revenue and the theme developer revenue.

just an idea, and sorry for getting into your business operation, I just have a hard time to choose a good event template.

Hi Omid,

No problem, we appreciate your thoughts.

From experience with seeing a lot of different sites using Event Espresso, event “themed” themes are actually not that popular. As Josh mentioned any quality, well coded theme regardless of its supposed topic/theme will work well with Event Espresso.

We generally recommend using a well known theme foundry such as Templatic, WooThemes etc. We have a list of themes that are known to conflict with Event Espresso here https://eventespresso.com/wiki/known-third-party-plugin-theme-conflicts/

Thanks for the idea though, it is certainly an interesting one, and something we have toyed with in the past, but for various reasons never took further.
