Event Overview not showing all events

I auto-updated to 3.1.31.3.P and now my Events Overview page is not showing all events.  Very frustrating, really, the way the page works – it should default to showing active events so that you don’t have to reset the “Retrieve” to “all” every time and then apply an “active” filter.

1) What file in the code runs this page?  I’d be glad to go in and see if I can make it work the way I want (I know it’s not recommended to update the core files, but my client will not be happy with the way it is working now).

2) When I select “Active” and then press “Filter Status” I get events which are closed!  And only 2 of my open events show, and there are about 5 or 6 right now.

Did something change in the database structure of this last update that would have caused some of the events to not show in the JOIN?

Help, please!  Thanks.

I found the /includes/event_management/event_list.php file and was able to show the SQL query to find out why some of my newer additions weren’t showing.  They had end dates that were supposed to be 05/2014 but I mis-entered it as 2013.   Oops… my bad.

Still, I am a little confused about why events with status “closed” are showing up in my default query.  I know they are closed because the registration date has passed, but should their status still be A and is_active still be Y?

Hi there,

Have you updated to .32 and used the system defaults? More work was done on this since .31.3 and was released in .32.
