What shortcode do I need to use so that past events dont show up in the events listing

I tried [EVENT_LIST show_expired=false]

By default, the [EVENT_LIST] should not show expired events. You can activate expired or deleted events by using [EVENT_LIST show_expired=true].

This happens mainly with the recurring events.

Have your events actually expired?

I’ve you look in the backend and find a past event that shows up, what is the status of the event?

Hi Mariruth,

If the registration end date is set to a future date it will display in the event list, even if the event end date is in the past. You may need to adjust the registration end dates for these events.
