Event limit is higher than attendee numbers but event Displayed as FULL

Hi there. I looked through the forum but couldn’t find anybody with a similar problem.

We have an event with a limit of 30 people. When I look on the front end the event shows up full. When I look at the back end the event shows up full as well: 30/30. But when I click on Attendees to export the list there are only 26 attendees.

Hi Kat,

Are there group registrations within the attendee list?

Can I take a look at the event within the admin? If so please provide temporary login details using this form:

Hi Kat,

I had look over this.

The top box is showing the amount of Attendee records your event has, the 30/30 is showing the actual amount of tickets sold.

The reason for the difference is one of your attendees purchase 5 tickets. So its still 1 record, but has a ticket qty of 5.

If you view your Attendee list, on the first page you’ll see 1 record had a qty of 5. All of the others have 1, if you add all of the QTY fields for all your records it equals 30 (the total ticket sales).

You could (in theory) have 3 attendee records, each taking 10 tickets. The attendee list would then only show those 3 records.

Does that make sense?
