event header code error

When I publish an event I’ve got this message on the page header instead of just the title:
<span class=”ee-status event-active-status-DTU”>Upcoming</span>TEFL….
How can I get rid of the code in the header box?

Hi cetaps,

That might require changing some code in the active WordPress theme. It shouldn’t be using the title tag in the way it’s using it now. Otherwise, you set the option to not display the Event status in Event Espresso > Events > Templates.

thanks, I opted for not display the Event status in Event Espresso > Events > Templates and problem solved.
