When a promo code is used, it sends the registrant to PayPal like it should, but without reflecting the discount. My sys setup is below. Please help

It should be sending the discount information along to PayPal. One thing you could change is switch your site over to use the PayPal Express payment method.

The guide lists this as a restriction – “How can I setup a recurring payment or subscription through PayPal Express?
Recurring or subscription payments are not currently supported in the PayPal Express payment gateway.”
We need PayPal to be accepting recurring payments. Can it be used in both manners?
Event Espresso can’t be used to accept recurring payments whether you use PayPal Standard or PayPal Express. With regards to the discounts not getting passed along to PayPal, does that happen with all other plugins and any customizations added to the site deactivated?
I don’t use Event Espresso for recurring payments, but I use my PayPal account to take recurring payments through my website. I’ll test with other plugins deactivated.
You can still use your PayPal account to take recurring payments on your website and use Event Espresso + PayPal Express with your same PayPal account.
