Event Espresso is not shown in the WordPress Backend Menu

Hi,

I bought this plugin for my site. First I tried it at a test-site: everything was wonderful. But now, at the correct site, I have the problem, that list item “Event Espresso” in the WordPress backend main menu is completely not shown.

So I can not use it at all. I installed the plugin a several times new, updated it and so not – nothing. I just can enter the settings via the installed-plugin-site of WordPress.

Do you know this bug?

Maybe you have an idea.

Thank you very much & sorry for the bad English!

Regards
Max

I have just seen: When I go to the installed-plugin-site and klick on “events”, then I get die notice: You do not have access to this route.

So I think there is a problem with the rights at this site:
http://Domain.de/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_events

Of course I´m signed in as a admin.

Do you know this problem?

Thanks!
Max

The problem is still there, when I set the chmod of admin.php to 777… by the way

Hi Eric,

This is not a known bug.

Do you have access to the EE maintenance page – domain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_maintenance_settings

Hi,

yes I have. I have also access to this page:
domain.tld/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_general_settings

Thanks
Max

On the Maintenance page go to the ‘Reset/Delete Data’ tab and click the ‘Reset Event Espresso Capabilities’ button. That will ensure your capabilities are correct.

Did you migrate the data from your test site or is the live site a fresh install?
