Event Espresso Date Picker won't save correctly

Hello,

Every time I try to enter a date into my event, whether it is for the event itself, or for when the tickets go on sale, after updating the page the date is adjusted to something I didn’t select. How can I fix this? This is a huge problem for us right now.

I am currently running WordPress 4.9.4 and have the latest version of all EE software and plugins.

Thank you

Hi Mike,

Your web server probably has an older version of PHP that had a datetime bug. You can contact your host and ask them to upgrade the version of PHP.

In the meantime, you can work around this by setting your site’s timezone to match a city in your timezone, (instead of a UTC timezone offset) You set this option in WP > Settings > General.

Oh wow, how simple was that. That’s exactly what the problem was. Thank you Josh!

May I ask which version of PHP did they update from?

From 5.6, a 4 yr old dinosaur. I went to 7.0. Even though WordPress claims to support 7.2, anything over 7.0 seems to break the admin on my site.

That might be a case where the active WP theme or another plugin might not support 7.2 yet.
