Hello,

When currently scanning tickets using the bar code plugin, it currently takes about 5-8 to actually say if the tickets are valid or not.

Is there any way at all to increase this other than changing host?

We are currently using a VPS server – 2GB memory (+2GB burst) and 2 CPU cores.

Thanks

Hi there,

Are you using that server for this site exclusively?

Are you using the latest version of both Event Espresso and the barcode scanner add-on?

Which mode within the add-on are you using? Continuous check or lookup?

If you use lookup mode does it take the same amount of time to read the ticket details?

Hi,

The server is being shared with our normal website but this is being run on a CDN with caching.

Latest EE and plugin.

We are using the continuous check in.

If you use lookup mode does it take the same amount of time to read the ticket details as it does when you use continuous check-in?
