The bugfix for 3.1.28 (which we had to pull last week due to some critical issues we found shortly after releasing it) is now available. You can download it from your account page or via the automatic updates. If you have any questions or issues, please let us know in the forums. Thanks!

Just to let you know 3.1.28.1 hosed our system. Attendee views lack lots of information. There are encoding errors in names. And Attendee export gives everyone the same name. Those are just a few of the many problems we experienced last night, and so rolled back, once again, from a bad update.

Still have serious Authorize.net issues from 3.1.27. But its definitely the lesser of two evils at this point.

@thomas
Please send WordPress admin level log in credentials via the contact form on this page: https://eventespresso.com/contact/

Select the “I am sending login info as requested” department form.

We’d like to take a look so we can see what is causing the issue. We fixed problems with character encoding issues in this update but if there was data that was stored incorrectly in the database previously, they wouldn’t be fixed/converted.

If you made a database backup before performing the update, we’d like to see a copy of that as well, so let us know.

Thanks.

Hi Thomas,

I’m sorry to hear about this. We put 3.1.28.1 though weeks of testing and refinement before we released it. What I can imagine happening is if there was encoded data in the db with the names before the update, this wouldn’t get converted over on the update. Would it be possible for you to send a db dump of the tables before the update was made?

I’m getting the message that there is an update available but that my license only covers one domain. I am only using one domain so the automatic update should work. Not an option presently, it tells me to login to my account and purchase the proper license.
Thoughts?

Guys,

I have reset your license keys. Please remove the key from the field in your settings, save, then reenter the key and save again.

Sorry for the trouble.
