I have difficulties to understand your documentation, first doc do not match my backend and confusing about differences mixed up languages everywhere. There is no straight translation – even not one part matching back and frontend.
Free Admission, Freiticket ect. has no meaning to me, I just want 1 ticket and one price…

Hello, would you like to help improve the translation for your language?

We have a guide here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-translate-event-espresso/

On the ticket editor, a new ticket option will have the name free admission. You can change the name through the event editor and save changes.

Now after setting up general basics and payment options i made it to start an event. First try is showing the register form with step 1-3
put in name, adress and amount of tickets… last page in the line of submit button, there is an input form without any advice what to put in here. Captcha is set to off. After push submit nothing happens – but later i can see the transaction was saved. No thank you page, no email was sent – nothing.

The help and documentation does not talk about this, and i was awaiting a smooth system to setup and working. Yes there are much help files, but no overview which is really helping, as i did it with no result.

Hi there,

I’m sorry for the trouble. Can you go to Event Espresso > Promotions > Settings and click Save under where it says Update Settings? I suspect the Promotions config did not get set up correctly because you mentioned the

last page in the line of submit button, there is an input form without any advice what to put in here

This sounds like the promotions input, but it’s missing the Promotion Code input text.

O.k. – did save promotion settings again. But I do not want promotion to show, cannot see how to switch off…
By the way, there are two espresso plugin license code given, one called Free and another one, why not mention at the very place in accountview, what is the difference. I have to read a ton of help and documentation, just to find what this is about. did not find

Now the process looks like working, and the 3 steps show as i was afraid, not the time format i want in backend like frontend.

1. step

2. step

See at the bottom, some mistake to see the button “Proceed to P…”

3. step

And this is the backend Time Format

Mail was sent, but do not show Bank Transfer details. Registrant has to go online again to find Bank Details?
Translation is another task….
Thanks so far!

I missed the question, that registrant should give all data which is in the list of the registration form, but only name and email is asked at registration.
Each point indicates REQ, which i understand as an formular item, if this field is a must fillout. How to activate other fields at registration?

You can switch the promotion field off by deactivating the Promotions add-on from the WordPress plugins page.

By the way, there are two espresso plugin license code given, one called Free and another one, why not mention at the very place in accountview, what is the difference.

You use the one that doesn’t have “free” in its name.
