[ESPRESSO_MY_EVENTS] Not showing Booking

We are using the shortcode [ESPRESSO_MY_EVENTS] and after booking onto events it is only saying “You have no events yet”

We have traced the code to EE_Event[] $objects
It leads to /wp-content/plugins/eea-wp-user-integration/templates/loop-espresso_my_events-event_section.template.php
template that displays the events, there’s a loop inside it that displays the $object
but that object doesn’t contain events.

We are running the latest version of EE Version 4.8.4.p , latest version of wp_user integration v2.0.3.p
& the latest version of wordpress 4.3

Can we get an update or the code needed to get event management working?

Hi Mark,

I’d like to test this out using one of our testing sites. Are you completing a registration and then browsing to that page and then you are seeing the message that no events are available?

Hi Nathan,

Are you logged into the site when registering onto the event or logging in directly after registering then visiting the page containing [ESPRESSO_MY_EVENTS]?

We are already logged in when making the bookings.

Hi there Nathan, I followed the steps that you shared and the event information populated. Here is what I did:

1) I’m running the latest release which is Event Espresso 4.8.4

2) This test site has never had WP Users running so I added it to the site and then added the shortcode to a WP page and published it.

3) Next, I browsed to the page and saw the the messaging regarding no events being available.

4) I registered for an event in a different browser tab and then switched back to the other browser tab and refreshed. After refreshing the no events message was replaced with the event information:

Are you running any caching services?

Was the email that was used for the registration different than the email that is on the current WP user profile (user that is currently logged in)?

When we moved the site from staging to production server, it worked!

Go figure! 🙂
