Hello, I’ve just bought the EE plugin.

I want to display the events as a table, I’ve installed the custom files on the upload directories and the template file in to the expresso/templates

the [EVENT_TABLE_DISPLAY] shourtcode is working but the [ESPRESSO_MOVIE_TABLE] is not working.

I’ve tried to use the shortcode [ESPRESSO_MOVIE_TABLE] with the attributes as suggested in the documentation, in my particular case:

[ESPRESSO_MOVIE_TABLE max_days=”30″ qty=”3″ category_id=”august”]

this shortcode with or without any other attributes.. is just not working.. please help

thank you

Hi Ion,

That’s kind of an older template. I think you’ll need to remove lines 35, 37-39 of movie_list.php, leaving

espresso_get_movie_tabe($sql);

to get that one to work.

Thank you Josh,

Removing those line fixed the problem. Although that template is not what I’m looking for..

I want to display a table like here (see bit down on the page)

http://londonschoolofphotography.com/

I want something identical, to display a category, the status column and the date range (from …to), basically identical with this example.

Is there any table available that I can use? I was thinking to start with the [ESPRESSO_TABLE] template and to customize that by adding the status column and the full range of the dates and some coloring. But I don’t know how and if I can modify the espresso-table.php to add the status and the range date for the event).

Thank you!
