First THANK YOU love that the app is here.

I am getting an error message when I click to view attendees.https://www.dropbox.com/s/wsgu2nz3hmfcwac/2016-05-03%2016.53.08.png?dl=0

Hi there,

May I ask if you logged into the app using a WordPress administrator account when you saw that error message?

Yes I am. Also now it won’t let me log into app at all so can’t use it ๐Ÿ™ Is it just me or are other people having the same challenge?

Not everyone, but it appears to be the case where if the server is using fcgi, then the authentication headers are not sent, so the user isn’t authenticated when you try to log in with the app.

We were able to make a few tweaks to make it so a server that uses fcgi can allow authentication, but one of the tweaks involves edition the server’s .htaccess file. Is that something you’re familiar with doing?

No, lol! However I did put in a query to my firewall provider. Can you give me the instructions or is it something I could have someone on your end do perhaps?

Someone from Event Espresso support staff can make the changes. We’ll need FTP and WordPress admin access to make that happen. If that works for you, please send WordPress admin level log in credentials and FTP credentials via the contact form on this page:

I’m having the same problem and am familiar with editing the .htaccess file… can you publish the fix here?

Hi James,

The stopgap fix is in this thread:

https://eventespresso.com/topic/ee4-app-error-requested-resource-could-not-be-found/#post-203548

I can see that you already found it though.

Does this fix the “missing permissions” error I keep getting every time I click on Attendees?

The fix worked for me! And yes it did fix the missing permissions error.

THank you for letting us know the above worked for you ๐Ÿ™‚

@thebushbar
