After updating to 4.4.5p from within WordPress, it says that it has installed correctly but I get this error appearing at the top of my page:

Warning: strpos(): Empty needle in /home/axiscom/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/helpers/EEH_Activation.helper.php on line 1182

Could you let me know why this the case?

Hi Colin, that message does not look familiar.

Was this update through WP plugins (a one-click update) or manually via SFTP or FTP?

I get this through WP Plugins (one click update). I deactivated the plugin and deleted then uploaded it using wp-admin and the same issue appears. Haven’t tried FTP yet.

Hi Colin,

Do you know if PHP 5.3 or higher is running on this site?

My host tells me that I am running PHP 5.4.31 at the moment.

Hi,

Could you turn WordPress debugging off by adding this to your wp-config.php file:

define('WP_DEBUG', false);
  if (WP_DEBUG) {
    define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);
    define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', true);
}

Then deactivate Event Espresso and delete it. Then download the latest version from your account page and re-install through WordPress plugins:
