Error on our website

The Event Espresso plugin is what controls the tickets and it’s what was causing our website to fail. When it’s turned on the website fails, when it’s off the website works – minus the ticket-related functionality.

Lets check for possible plugin or theme conflict.

You can use https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/ or any similar plugin.

You can do the above using Troubleshooting mode:

Tools -> Site Health -> Troubleshooting -> Enabled Troubleshooting mode.

That will disable all plugins and switch to a default theme and then allow you to enable specific plugins troubleshooting mode. Once disabled you will revert back to the current state.
