Hi there,
I’ve been running some tests on my site and I keep getting this error when I get to the confirmation page: http://www.amsut.net.au/clients/woodendnh.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/loading-transaction-and-payment-info-error.png

Any idea why this might be happening and how I can fix it please?
Thanks so much,
Kate

Hi,

Two questions:

1) Is this a windows based server? If so, we recommend switching to an apache or nginx server as we do not develop on windows-based servers.

2) Could you share the Site URL and the WP URL that is set in the general settings page for your WordPress site (WP-admin –> Settings –> General)?

Hi Lorenzo,
Yes the server is apache. The site URL is http://www.amsut.net.au/clients/woodendnh.org.au/ and the WP URL is also http://www.amsut.net.au/clients/woodendnh.org.au.
Thanks,
Kate

Hi Kate,

Can you temporarily switch themes to one of the defaults such as twentyfrouteen and see if the same happens please?

The theme is loading fitvids.js which is throwing a fatal – http://take.ms/aJcWA

I suspect this is prevents the ajax request from running on that page so just want to confirm.

Hi Tony,
I don’t understand what most of that means I’m afraid. I do get the bit about chnaging themes though – probably a silly question but if I change theme to twetyfourteen, it won’t affect the website in any way will it (I’m almost finished and obviously don’t want to lose anything)?
Cheers,
Kate

Hi Kate,

Changing the theme will affect the site, but you can test another theme using the built in WordPress Customizer using its preview mode.

The above test will confirm whether or not the theme is causing the breakage. Since Tony has already for the fitvids.js error though, I can advise to contact the theme’s support and ask them how to remove the fitvids.js from the page.
