I switched domains names. There is a DOS attack on our server this weekend, so that move us to another server. My cart is failing and I am losing registrations.
“ERROR: Invalid domain for site key”
I don’t see this error when I am logged into WordPress. Obviously, this is where I tested the cart. My customers see the error so sadly, this is setback in this weekend’s business.
Please help as soon as you can.
Devon

Hi Devon, could you remove the support license key that is in use and let us know if the messaging appears?

Also, if you are using any caching services, then could you setup no-cache rules for Event Espresso?

Followed all the steps… still the same problem.

Hi Devon, this is actually a different issue and isn’t related to your support license key. The messaging is coming from Google’s reCaptcha service.

Follow these steps to fix it:

I generated another set of reCaptcha keys and added them. The problem remains. The deactivated all reCaptcha plugins. The problem remains. I installed a new plugin for ReCaptcha and added the new keys. The problem remains.
Again: As a logged in user, I can process a payment. As a un-logged in user, I cannot process payment. I attempted this in several browsers as well.
you have my login details submitted to you.

Hi BeardedEagle,

That error is generated by Googles servers, not Event Espresso.

It appears there is some kind of issue when google tries to verify your domain, you mention you have moved servers, so the A record was updated recently? If so this may not have propagated fully yet.

I would recommend contacting you host to have them check into this.

Also for the time being you could disable the reCAPTCHA when not troubleshooting it as this will allow your registrations to work.

This can be done through Event Espresso -> Registration Form -> Reg Form Settings.

Set ‘Use reCAPTCHA’ to No and save the settings.

Have you simply disabled reCAPTCHA for the time being?

It would be interesting to try re-enabling this in a couple of days after DNS propagation to confirm if that is in fact the cause.

I disabled it at this time. However, I have another solution that I will test tonight that could be the problem. I will let you know.
