Entering Coupon Code causes Payment Overview to have duplicate entries in cart

Using the Firmness ( v.1.0.4 ) theme and site has been created since April 2015, just found 1 issue I can’t resolve. I recently added an event and I’m using a redirect to cart so I can use a drop down for multiple pricing options. It works if NO coupon is entered; however, if a coupon code is entered it causes duplicate entries in the Payment Overview screen in the cart.

What is causing the duplicate entries in the cart, could it be the firmness-functions.php or the shopping-cart.php? Looks like the shopping-cart.php is code for woocommerce and I’m not using woocommerce, could this cause this issue?

I’ve read through the forums and tried a few things but can’t seem to fix it.

Hi there,

I’m not sure what could be causing the duplicate entries in the cart when a promo code is used.

One thing that you can do that will help resolve this is migrate to Event Espresso 4. With Event Espresso 4 you do not need the Multi Event Registration cart to use a drop down for multiple pricing options, it’s built right in.
