Does EE support automated email reminders to attendees?

Hi G M,
Unfortunately at this time Event Espresso does not support automatic email reminders.
Although not ideal we have seen some users use the MailChimp Add-on as a work around for this, using the campaigns within MailChimp as a event reminder.

Bum!
That’s a deal breaker for my client.
Are there code hooks available for me to write the additional functionality we need as an add-on module? If so, is there some documentation I can look over?

EE4 has more – but we don’t have documentation on them as yet.
