Hi,
this is my problem. I understand, that I have to keep it simple, but why are the test emails looking exactly like I want all of my emails to look like? I use the same template, but the ones I’ve created look crashed. How can I achieve that?

Thanks.

Hi Brainfruit,

Are you actually sending the test emails or using the preview function?

Can you link me to one of your events so I can run a test registration to view this please?

Hi Tony,
I actually sent the test emails. This is my event.

I can’t register onto any tickets as they are member only currently.

Can you either disable the member only setting or provide temporary login details using this form:

Sorry, totally forgot about this. Member only is disabled now.

Hmm strange, the event is still member only.

Did you disable this within the test event itself?

The event settings are exactly like in your picture.

Do you have capabilities set on each ticket? – http://take.ms/cjcli

If so you’ll need to remove the capability from one of those tickets or provide a login with the capability required.

I’ve removed the capability from “Freiticket”.

Could you let us know what is broken or crashed?

When sending your test emails, are you within the correct context?

When sending test emails it works fine for me if sending the event admin context, but I do see an issue wthin outlook with test emails for the registrant context – http://take.ms/ZAPR8 (I’m testing the registration approved message type)

Is that what you see?

I’m in the correct context(Registrant). The issue with the registrant context is exactly what I see.

It looks like for some reason Outlook is ignoring the inline styles for the ul and li elements in the registrant email.

I can’t find any issues with the HTML and it loads correctly when viewing in the browser or within gmail etc.

Currently I suspect this is a bug with how outlook handles the html/css within the email but I will keep digging to try and narrow this down.
