I’m trying to test a Custom Registration Pending Payment e-mail.
I send you here my configuration and the message that appears when i’m trying to make a test http://www.stimulus.com.pe/video/mailtest.png
The template displays correctly
I try to change the subject to “test” and it doesnt work
It appears the same message:
“An error has occurred:
The test message was not sent
Messages_Admin_Page – _do_test_send – 1952”
EE uses wp_mail() to send emails through your site (which then passes the emails over to your hosts mail server) so if WordPress can not send emails thorugh your host, nether can Event Espresso.
You could try installing a plugin such as Check Email to confirm if your site can send emails.
However I would recommend using a transactional email service to send your site as we often find issues mailserver configs on some hosts. Using a transaction email service removes the host from the equation and also provide must better tracking of your emails. Take a look here:
