Hi: COcciardi changed their email address. The events are not sending confirmation emails. I can’t find where to put the “sending”email so that registrated people are getting the email confirmation. |

Hi there, It depends on how the messages are set up. First is Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Your Ogranization. There you’ll see a ‘Primary Contact Email’ field, make sure that field has the correct email address. Test a registration and see if the emails are received after that change. Then, go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Defautl Message Templates -> Registration Approved -> Edit Registant What is set in both the TO and FROM fields there? |

Hi: The email is sending from WP. I changed the email in both places: http://joxi.ru/p27e8yjSnwx3vr AND I changed the email Here: http://joxi.ru/823eOXMSaR4nar I tested again and it is still not sending. I get an error that says it is not working, yet payement is going through. It seems that for some reason it is not saving the new email and keeps attempting to send from the old email. Is there another place we should be adding the email? |

PS: I am trying to figure out WHY the user is getting this error message. WE ARE getting the emails (since we changed the emails in the places you told us) as well as the registrant. http://joxi.net/E2p5vxDu43XOlA THank you. |

Sorry, I guess I’m confused here. Your opening post states the emails aren’t sending, but here they are sending? —- Switch this section: http://joxi.net/823eOXMSaR4nar Back to using Hardcoded the email there hasn’t changed the address, so it’s not an issue with the shortcode and I recommend switching back to it. Also, the context you are editing there is the ‘Primary Registrant’, see here: In the dropdown at the top select ‘Registrant’ and click ‘Switch Recipient (For more info on working with message contexts see HERE) What is in the FROM field there?
?? So the emails are sending? The user is likely getting that error because one of your message templates is set to use either a hardcode email address or a shortcode that is parsing to a location that still has the email address set. If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings. What is the option ‘Generate and send all messages:’ set to? |

Hi: The emails ARE being sent but for some reason, getting that weird popup. PLUS I see this http://joxi.ru/DmBeXj5Sg7YdKr And Can’t for the life of me find where that EMAIL is buried. |

From that screenshot, that’s the ‘Registrant’ context. Please follow the steps I posted in the above post with regards to switching to the ‘correct’ context. Event Espresso -> Messages -> Defautl Message Templates -> Registration Approved -> Edit Registrant is the page you need to edit. |
