Hi… I use Akeeba Backup for backing up my site. Part of testing the backup is restoring to a test site just to make sure the backup can be restored. When I restore, Akeeba Backup tries to substitute the live site name (www.mysite.com) to the test site (restoretest.mysite.com). But the size of the ee_core_routes row in the wp_options database table causes the substitution to timeout. Akeeba Backup’s support says that this row is 2 million characters. Any suggestions for me? Thanks!
You can delete that option before running your backups.
