We have an upcoming events widget in our home page that shows the upcoming courses that we run. Our customer has told us that people are getting confused when they see a course that appears to run from January to June when they know our courses are all just for several days or a week at most. Many of our courses are actually a series of one day workshops on a specific topic and so they’re one event with multiple date times – perfect for EE, however I need to be able to adjust what the upcoming events widget shows so that instead of it showing 10 January – 11th June, it just shows 10th January.

Hi Jamie,
If you go to Appearance > Widgets, you can edit the settings in the Upcoming Events widget where you’ll set “Number of Dates to Display” to 1 and “Show Date Range” to No. Then click Save

Please be sure to check that you’re making edits to the widget that’s set to display on the home page. It looks like the widget that’s used on other pages has that setting, but not the one for the home page.
