EE4 Tickets "Sold Out" for Event but not less than ticket amount registered.

How can I get an accurate count and open this event back up for tickets? There’s 18 available tickets and the sold count says 18. Meanwhile the registered value is 12. This is the true value, I deleted some of my test registrants. How do I reset the Ticket Count value and allow people to register?

Hello,

The software doesn’t know if you are testing or accepting live registrations.

Please raise the quantity to account for the difference. Then save changes.

Alternatively, you can close out that existing ticket by setting to end date to today and then create another one that has the quantity that you want to make available.

I deleted the “testing” registrations but the sold tickets value didn’t go down.

Unfortunately, that won’t edit those values since they were already recorded. See my earlier response for a solution:

Thanks Lorenzo. It seems like the values should be based on actual registrations and not a counter.

Hello,

I was looking at the registrations page and it occurred to me that we might have different definitions of delete.

You can trash a registration from the registrations screen.

A trashed registration will then be moved out of the registrations screen for this specific event. However it will still count as a registration.

If you then go to the trash and delete the registration, then the registrations figures will be deducted by that amount. This is because this registration has been permanently deleted.

Thanks.

I’ve deleted/trashed the registrations from the registration screen AND removed all of the trashed registrations from the trashed folder. However, the registrations and the numbers are still not accurate… This is pretty frustrating.

Hi primaxstudio,

Are you using the latest version of Event Espresso 4? (Currently 4.2.4)

When you trash approved registrations that have ‘Free’ tickets applied to them, the Sold value should automatically update.

Just to confirm, if you edit the event then click on the Approved Registrations link within the event options on the right – http://take.ms/jQNfL

If you look through the list of registrations visible there, are there any test registrations that should be removed?
