I use Headway themes and there is no single.php or page.php, so how can I add the Espresso Arabica template files to my headway theme folder or headway child theme folder and be able to edit them and be seen? |
|
The arabica template files are based on twentyfourteen and will likely not be compatible with your theme. I don’t have any experience with headway themes, but they look like they are heavily based around a visual builder, is that correct? Which template files does the theme include? |

It is visual but very customizable. The have a block where you can have custom PHP code for a page. Is it possible to put the code for the Event page there and remove the call to the header, footer. etc? |
|
Is there a sample code anywhere for customizing this page? And CSS example? It’s still kinda confusing on how to edit the layout. |

Trying to get similar to this: http://www.paintingwithatwist.com/events/viewevent.aspx?eventID=641619 or this |

Hi Dorian, Creating custom templates is considered custom development. We are flexible on support but we can’t build out a site for you. Please check with an Event Espresso professional here: https://eventespresso.com/developers/event-espresso-pros/ — |

I wasnt wanting a template created, just a sample on customizing the event page. |

Hi Dorian, At the time of this writing, we do not have any samples that replicate the paintingwithatwist.com or pinotspallette.com sites. If you have a specific question like “How do I get the featured image on an event page to float to the right?” or something like that we can help. If you’re being tasked to change the Headway theme (or any WP theme for that matter) to look like one of those other sites the way forward will be to team up with a PHP developer. |
