Is there a shortcode to sort events by date only and not by events? I have events with multiple dates and the shortcode [ESPRESSO_EVENTS order_by=”start_date”] shows the list by bundling all the events into one. For example, if event 1 has a date of Aug 1, and Dec 1, and event has a date of Sept 1. The shortcode will show Aug 1, Dec 1 events first and then the Spet 1 event. Please help. thanks.

Hi Ray,

It sounds like what you’ll need to do in this case is break off the Dec 1 datetime from the Aug 1 event and create a new event for the Dec date.

Ok – but are you planning on providing any updates to EE4? It seems like EE3 is great but very little movement on the EE4 side. I signed up for EE4 to integrate with LearnDash but that’s not working well either. Can you help me understand your feature release plans for EE4? Or did EE4 get pushed to the end of the line? Thanks.

Hi Ray,

Yes, and you’re welcome to preview some of the new features we’re getting ready to release with the pre-release of Event Espresso 4.3 if you’d like.

Along with that the EE4 FAQ that has all of the information that we’ve made public about future release plans for EE4.

If you have a moment, please let the folks at LearnDash know what’s not working well. They’ll appreciate the feedback.
