EE4 "Return to Event Cart" button link not working

Hi,

Clicking the “Return to Event Cart” button at the end of checkout page just scrolls back to the beginning of the page. If I right click it to open in a new tab, it shows the event cart. Not sure what is wrong. How do I resolve this?

Hello,

I remember seeing that on a specific theme last year but I could not reproduce the issue on any other themes.

What theme are you using?

I’m using DIVI theme.

Thanks. I was able to verify that it doesn’t move past that page.

Hi, I’m not sure of an estimate but Divi appears to be a popular theme so I’ve added that feedback to the ticket.

We’ll definitely update this support post once we have more information.

Hi there,

I can advise to contact Elegant Theme’s support to see if they can add a fix. The issue you’ve reported here appears to be very similar to an issue that was reported with WooCommerce + the Divi theme where the WooCommerce Description tabs were broken on sites that use the Divi theme.

I can see that they’ve since added a fix to the Divi theme to resolve the issue for WooCommerce’s links, specifically in js/custom.js on line 644. If they’re made aware of this issue, they can apply a similar fix there for Event Espresso’s links. This way Divi’s scripts will no longer the break the Return to Event Cart link.

Will this affect even if I’m not using the woocommerce facility?

Hi,

Yes, they’ll need to update the code so Event Espresso isn’t affected. Josh was letting you know that they added a solution so Woocommerce would not be affected.
