EE4 Promo code issue

In EE4 when you add a code, you have to click “select all”, then click next page, “select all”, next page, etc…. So when they add new events, they have to go back in and select the new events. That is a real pain. Is there not a way to globally allow coupons on all events and then select the ones you dont want them on? I think that makes more sense.

Hello,

I think what you are asking for is for it to select all existing and future events and then allow exclusion option.

The first part of what I described above is available through the all scope items:

However, the exclusion option is not currently available.

I’ll double check, but we had that checked and the coupon field didn’t show until I physically checked all the boxes.

Setting that option should mean you don’t need to check any boxes at all.

You may need to clear your session when making changes to pull the latest changes. Visit your /registration-cancelled/ page to clear the session after making a change to the promotion options and re-start the registration again.

It should then show the Promo field for all events.
