WordPress Version: This is not a new installation, just updated today but the problem was around before hand. The issue was first realized because gravity forms was being used on “alternate register page” but e-mails were not being sent out. I deactivated gravity forms to use EE4 register form but it’s not showing up. I have the Primary register questions checked as well as additional registers. Thanks in advance |

Hi, Firstly, assigning a Gravity Forms on an alternative registration page will not automatically integrate with EE. The alternative registration page is used for example when you wish them to go elsewhere to register (a different event, a different registration system, etc). The ticket in the event you linked to has expired so the registration form wont appear as I cannot select a ticket number. |

I understand that gravity forms doesn’t automatically intergrate with EE, the customer had set it up that way for a few events. I apologize for the expired link, here is a good one. http://swooshtech.com/events/raising-the-efficiencies-of-your-discrete-manufacturing-process-dallas/ |

Hi, Thanks for the link. I am seeing the registration form, it is showing 3 groups: Personal, Address and Workshop Registration. The only unusual thing is that it is showing multiple duplicate questions. This is odd because it should set it up so if a question is added to multiple groups, it should only show once. Which questions are not showing? Have you checked the Question groups to make sure that these have not been added multiple times? |
|
Well I feel embarrassed now, the questions were duplicated because they were in multiple Questions groups. Thanks for the speedy answers! |
Hi Candis, No need to feel embarrassed 🙂 Just to confirm, is everything working as expected now? |

As far as that issue goes it’s good. I’m having another issue since I switched from EE3 to EE4 and I thought I had 2 tokens available but cannot seem to find where they are located. It seams like after switching to EE4 it’s been kind of buggy. Times showing up on table different than it is setup in event post, e-mails not going through sometimes and a few other things. Also noticed that there is a shared database between EE and Filebase. I believe it was this one I tried to delete EE and all add-ons, run plugin garbage collector, then cleanup tools, then a fresh install but all the data was still there after new install. I was hoping maybe you guys could take a look and see what you come up with, I can provide login info upon request. Thanks again |
Hi, A support token was used last month. If there are some missing, please email sales below and they can look them up: sales [at] eventespresso.com If they were purchased under a different account or email, then that may be why you can’t see them. EE3 and EE4 have a different code base and store information in different database tables. We are not affiliated with Filebase. Sporadic emails can occur on shared hosting platforms because it sends through the hosts mail servers. Using a service like Mandrill or Postmark app can ensure that the emails are delivered: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/postmark-app-mandrill-transactional-email-handling-services/ — |

I appreciate the information but nothing you said helps my problem. Are you not going to help find a solutions to this? |
Hi,
Can you tell me which table this is please? If this using the ‘EE4 Events Table View Template’ Add-on we have a released an update to fix date related issues, please ensure you are running the latest version of the Add-on.
Having said that this may also be due to incorrectly configured ‘messages’ so it will depend on which emails are not being sent, can you provide further details on these please?
I’ve added this to a ticket for investigation although this will likely not be a quick fix.
De-activating or deleting Event Espresso (either EE3 or EE4) does not remove any of the details from the database. If you do wish to remove the details and start fresh we have a function within Event Espresso -> Maintenance -> Reset/Delete Data (tab) Be sure to create a database backup before doing so (just to be safe) we have a guide posted to show you how to do this: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-back-up-your-site/ I would advise when backing up to just do a full site site backup (database and all files) as it doesn’t take much longer and is always handy to have. |

Thank you, that will give me stuff to look into. |
