EE4 not maintaining close date for tickets

Hello!

We have an active registration campaign running right now, and for some reason EE4 keeps resetting the sale end date for our currently active ticket to the same day as open for that ticket, rendering it unusable. I have attempted to create a new ticket as well, with similar results. Saving changes doesn’t appear to work at all.

Help!

So a bit more digging on this. I am able to manually edit the end date on the database, and the ticket goes live again.. as soon as I save any changes on the event page, even if I select a specific date on the end calendar, it reverts to setting start and end dates to the same thing. I can then go back and fix the database again.

Hi Aaron,

Are you currently running Event Espresso version 4.2.2? If so, this has been fixed and you can run the update to 4.2.4 which is available as a 1-click update from your WP plugins manager page.

Thank you Josh!

I will perform the update tonight. 🙂

Is there a way to get new release announces e-mailed?

Hi there,

While we don’t send out emails for every release, you can use a service like http://www.changedetection.com/ and set up detection + notifications for our changelog page, which can be found here:
