EE4 Mijireh payment error (2)

I’ve been having country code errors whilst using EE4 with Mijireh connecting to Eway. I had my previous post closed, but the issue isn’t resolved.

I paid for priority (12 hour response) support with Mijireh 1 week ago and they haven’t gotten back to me. After looking at their forum this seems to be common.

Anyway, my EventEspresso license is up for renewal in less than a month and I really just need some way to connect eway to EE4. Is there any other method you can recommend?

Regards,
Shaun

Hi Shaun,

Thanks for getting back to us. We raised a ticket for this issue and have been in discussion with Mijireh directly, but so far we have not come to a conclusion as to whether we need to change something or whether it is at Mijirehs end.

I’ll put this under the developers nose again and ask him to look at it to see if we can do something from our end or not.

hi Shaun,
it’s especially strange that you’re getting an error from eWay about a country code being invalid when, if no address info is provided during EE’s signup process, EE isn’t sending ANY country data to Mijireh.

Right now EE4 is sending the country’s name to Mijireh which they say is fine (we just have some email correspondence about this with Mijireh). But just in case, I’ve created a separate version of EE that you can download here: https://github.com/eventespresso/event-espresso-core/archive/BUG-8012-mijireh-and-eway-country-codes.zip that sends a country CODE to Mijireh and makes sure it’s lowercase.
Please try this version of EE temporarily to see if it resolves the issue for you. If not, please go to Event Espresso’s admin section -> payments -> logs and then click “export” at the bottom of the page and send that data to us, as that might help in debugging on our end.

also shaun, it might be helpful to either provide us with the URL of the development site where you’re experiencing these issues, or your Mijireh credentials so we can try them from one of our servers.
