EE4 Messages – Shortcodes within shortcodes

Can I use a custom shortcode and use one of the already shortcodes? I’m trying to use the Registrant’s first name within a custom shortcode that I have created. I tried WP’s do_shortcode() and it only gave me [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_FNAME] instead of the registrant’s name. My custom shortcode is in the Main Content section.

Hi Phillip,

No EE message shortcodes are not a part of WP Shortcodes so do_shortcode() will not work on them.
