EE4 Free and Never Ending Events

I’m starting a new EE4 installation after some complications with converting over from EE3. I have an event (baseball lessons) that are free to sign up for because a price is determined privately between the lesson provider and lesson taker. Also, the lessons are never ending, and can be signed up for at any time. What is best way to go about accomplishing when creating an event in EE4? I just want to make sure I do it the right way this time. Thank you.

Hi,

There is no ongoing or endless event available in EE4. The closest you would get would be to set the end dates far into the future.

Thanks, Dean. I’ve created an event and when trying to view it in the browser (eg. siteurl.com/events/private-lessons) the home page keeps loading instead. Do you how I can fix this?

Hi,

Do you mean that it is sending you to your homepage instead of the event page?

Do you have any redirection plugins running? If not, do you see the same thing when you deactivate all plugins and reactivate only Event Espresso?

Could you also try refreshing your permalinks by browsing to the permalinks page in WP-admin –> Settings –> Permalinks?

Thanks for the reply. It was a permalink issue.
