EE4 – Events spanning several weeks – proper way to add

Hi,

For our classes, we have classes that run every Thursday evening for four weeks.

What is the proper way to add this type of class so that when it shows up on the calendar it doesn’t look like it is running 24/7 for four weeks starting on the first Thursday and ending on the last Thursday?

When people register, I want them automatically signed up for all four dates and not to have to choose them or register for each one individually.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

We recommend entering each time the class meets as its own datetime within the one event. So they buy one ticket and it’s good for each time the class meets. You can add more datetimes to an event by clicking on the Add Datetime button under then “Event Tickets & Datetimes” box in the Event Espresso 4 event editor. After you click it, you enter the additional date time’s start and end times.
