EE4 Events Calendar not showing categories

My EE4 Events Calendar doesn’t show the Event categories at the top of the page.

wp: 3.9.1
EE: 4.2.3 reg
EE Calendar: v3.0.0.reg Newest version available for DL.

Hello,

The latest version of Event Espresso 4 is 4.2.4. Please backup your WordPress and update to the current version.

The disable categories option needs to be disabled in the Calendar settings page within the WordPress admin:

If it is and it is still not working, then please share a link so we can look for errors on the page.
