EE4 Events Calendar – nested subcategories in Category filter drop-down

Hi there, I would like to show child categories nested (indented) in the Calendar category drop-down, but there is no class for sub-categories, and the categories seem to list by alpha. Is there a way to order by Category ID, and list sub-categories as a sub-menu (just indented) of their Parent category?

Hi Michael, this is not currently supported. However, we have recently adjusted the calendar categories and venues dropdown menus to sort by alphabetical order instead of by ID.

I can create this as a feature request for the events calendar. Could you share a screenshot of your current dropdown menu for your events?
