EE4 Event Messages

My “custom” messages are not firing when I register users for events. The global messages are being sent even though I have selected the “Custom Templates”

Please advise!

Hi James,

Which message have you customised? Did you customise the admin, primary attendee or attendee versions or all of them?

Have you checked the modifications saved? (You need to save, before switching to another user type).

Thanks Dean. I’m trying to ONLY send the custom Approved Message. However, “Event Registration Details” is also being sent to the registrant. I would like to only deliver my custom “Approved” message.

Hi,

The email with the subject line Event Registration Details is the Registration Approved email.

As such only one email should go out to the customer and one to the admin and one to any additional attendees.

The Event Registration Details I could not change. I needed a custom confirmation email for different events. So, I used the “Event Approved” email and customized for each event. I do not want to send the “Event Registration Details” message.

Or did I miss somethign? Is the “event registration details” message customizable for each event?

Hello,

The Event list shortcode is included in the registration approved global message template:

[EVENT_LIST]

Removing the shortcode above should remove that information from the email notification.

You can also turn off the notification by removing the email from the TO field:

This will deactivate this message.
