Hi support,

I’m referring to ticket https://eventespresso.com/topic/ee4-editing-federal-tax-percentage-throws-error-unknown-named-parameter-new_/

When will this php8-issue be fixed?

Hi there,

Have you tested this with the latest version of EE4?

I’ve just tested editing the default price types using 4.10.38 on PHP 8.0.23 and 8.1 without any issues.

Hi Tony,

I’ve not tested this with the latest version of EE4. Actually, I was waiting for the newsletter announcing that EE is php8 copatible 🙂

So I can upgrade to php8 without breaking my events/workshops?

Next on the current version, there are a couple of PHP8 issues.

The next update we push for EE should fix the remaining compatibility issues. We have a couple of tickets to finalize for that version but will push it asap.
