when people click the register button, it either takes them back to our home page, or it tells them their registration was not accepted, and they should refresh their screen to try again.

Hi Tara,

I checked the registration checkout on your site and it appears that the social media buttons and scripts were interfering. I’ve removed those from the event-registration and thank-you pages and was able to run a successful test registration. Are you able to check to see if everything is working from your end now?

This does appear to have helped!! Is there anything I need to know about the changes you made while creating future events?

The changes I made were actually to the event-registration, thank-you, and transactions pages. It just involved unchecking the boxes next to the settings for:

Show sharing buttons.
Show likes.

You might want to uncheck the same boxes for events as well, but from what I could tell, the “like this on Facebook” pop up didn’t happen on the page where you try to select tickets.

Hi Josh, that wasn’t it 🙁 hardly any registrations are getting through, and we’re getting emails from customers saying things like this:
“I am trying to register for the event on April 21 and when I click on register, it takes me to the page that lists each of your locations. I clicked on Warminster and got the calendar of events. I clicked on the event for April 21 and it took me back to the register page that I was on at the beginning.”

I’m desperate for help with this. I’m losing customers, they are so frustrated wasting time trying to register and it not working. I’m shutting off every plugin I can hoping this is the problem, I’m at my wits end.

I’ve replied to your support token via email.
