EE4, Custom Shortcodes in Email Templates

Hi there,

I am trying to add some custom meta info in an admin email for new transactions on the site, but I’m getting an error when trying to add my own shortcodes to the email template in admin.

Is there a way around this?

Hi there,

Meta info from where? If the event you can use the [EVENT_META_*] shortcode.

With your own shortcodes you need to register them within the EE Messages system as the shortcodes there are not ‘standard’ shortcodes. I have previously posted on how to add your own shortcodes here:
