Is it possible to add captchas to EE4 events?

Hi,

Google’s reCAPTCHA is built in. If you go to Registrations Forms > Reg Form Settings tab, you can enable it from there.

Thanks Dean! Can I control which events have captchas on them?

Hi James,

It turns out that ReCaptcha a global setting, if it’s enabled it’s applied to all events.

I enabled ReCaptcha and it appears in my admin settings. It does not show up on any event registrations.

My registrations don’t have a payment as they’re all free. Could this be where the reCaptcha is supposed to be?

If so, How can I make reCaptcha work without requiring a payment?

Hi,

If you are logged in the reCAPTCHA will not show, as logged in users are considered trusted. If you log out or use a Chrome Incognito window, you should see the reCAPTCHA appear.
