EE4 – Can you show the price in an event, not the price+modifier amount?

For example, I have a ticket that is $20 and it has a service fee price modifier of $2. In the price listing it shows $22 as the price, and then you can click “show details” to show the break down.

I’d like it the listing to show the pre-modified price of $20 instead of the added price.

Hi there,

Yes, you can. This will be less work in a future version of EE after we add another parameter to the filter that lets you override the price display. In the meantime, the answer that Sidney posted in this other thread has some code you can use right now:

A little follow-up on this: Event Espresso 4.4.0.p was released today and it includes Sidney’s hook modification, which makes the customization to the ticket price display much easier. Example code is in our documentation:
