EE4 Calendar Disappearing

I’m running WP 3.8.3 with Twenty Eleven Alt theme, EE4 and new ee4 calendar. I want to run the calendar on my page http://www.cityfolksfarmshop.com/calendar/ where it ran before I updated to ee4 from ee3. I haven’t changed theme, header, or plug ins since updating but the calendar won’t display upcoming events.

It will display if I select ‘enable filters in calendar’ AND a user chooses ‘show all’ in the drop down but I don’t want to rely on web visitors to use that drop down – I want all upcoming events to show on the calendar.

I’ve tried looking for jquery conflicts but don’t see any (though I’m not very experienced with jquery). I don’t think there’s a conflicting plug in and the theme is very common and not modified. Ideas?

Hi Rachel,

That’s very odd, it should be displaying regardless of the filters (I rarely use them and it works fine for me).

Can you try resetting the calendar settings (Calendar > Settings > Reset Calendar Settings? option at the bottom = Yes > Save)? See if it just needs a reset to kick back in properly.

If not let me know, but I may request login details at that point to examine the issue more closely.

Ok, I found a plug-in that seems to have a conflict with the new calendar, ccslider which I was using to show pictures on the homepage. I deactivated it and the calendar works. It must be using jquery in an incompatible way.

Can anyone recommend an easy way to insert slider pictures that won’t conflict with ee4 calendar?

Hi Rachel,

Could you try out Meteor Slides?
