Hi,
I just installed EE4 on my web site, which had a simple event section already on it. It appears now that EE4 created a struction of http://www.domain.com/events which is in the location of my old event section (that used an event blog post type). Needing to get this sorted out. Going to purchase a support token from you to provide access to my site.

It sounds like the old events page will need to be renamed.

I just installed event espresso and it has broken my current events. We had a custom post type that posted to an events page. http://www.timberlinelodge.com/events/ However now those posts have disappeared off the site after installing EE. Is there a way to reverse the installation and reinstall EE to control a different section of our other than /events?

Hi Brian,

In this case the course of action to take is to change the slug that Event Espresso uses to display its events from “events” to something else. Since you purchased a support token and sent FTP credentials I can make that happen. But first, please let me know what you’d like to change it to?

In the meantime I’ll take a look into the issue with the “conditions” page you reported.

Hi Josh,
This sounds like a great solution, and thank you for offering to help.
Let’s call the event espresso section: eventregister
Let me know if that will work.

Josh – also, on the conditions page… it appears that some CSS that EE installed may be overriding our original CSS that styled the tables on that page. Can you check on it for me? Thank you for your help on this!!

Hi Brian,

I added some css to your WP theme’s Custom CSS settings that fixes the Conditions page issue.

I’ll go ahead and make the change so the slug is eventregister.
