We need to have multiple barcode scanners for check-in at our upcoming event (March 7, 2015). How do I accomplish this with EE4 (using WP 4.1)? I’m guessing we need multiple computers all logged into our WP account with different ID’s?
Will the barcode scanner worked attached to an iPad logged into our WP account?
Finally, is the ticketing/barcode scanner combination now stable enough for live use or should I just punt and drop back to the EE3 and the ticketing/QR scanning solution?
Time is somewhat critical as I need to take event registration live within the next 7 days or so.

Hi Cecil, multiple scanners are supported at the same time. You can use a scanner with an iPad but it needs to have iOS compatibility for iPads.
The add-on is currently available as a pre-release if you would like to try it out.
We’ll make an announcement on our blog once we officially release the ticketing add-on and barcode add-on for Event Espresso 4.

Thanks. Am I correct that each barcode scanner needs to be attached to a computer/iPad which are logged into the same WP site, but using different User ID’s?

Hi Cecil, that is correct. You can use multiple scanners with multiple users. We just wanted to clarify that the scanner should be compatible with an iPad and bluetooth scanners do work with Event Espresso 4 and the pre-release of the barcode scanner.
