EE4: Add a 2nd field to confirm email address on Registration page

Greetings – I need to add a 2nd field to confirm the email address input by a user on our registration page. Adding the field itself is easy. But I need to confirm that the input in both fields are identical. I see a support post about this back in 2016, but nothing since then. Was hoping you had a way to quickly implement this now perhaps.

What would you recommend now?

Hi Mark,

We do not have a way to quickly implement this now, but we can keep this in mind when planning new features.

Update:

This has been added in version 4.10.5.p. To activate this feature on your site, you can go to edit the Person Information question group in Event Espresso > Registration Form, then check the box next to “Confirm Email Address”. Then click Save.
