Since we began to use EE4, no emails have come from the system to confirm registrations with attendees or to notify administrators of the new registrations. I have tested with a couple of different email addresses in the admin settings and through test registrations. WP is the most current release and mail is sent from WP without issue. |
Hi Kevin, Could you let me know if regular WordPress notifications are sent such as new user notification or password resets? Also, is this shared hosting? — |

Hi Lorenzo – yes, WP is able to send email fine (user notification / password resets / Wordfence Alerts / etc all arrive fine). This is a dedicated server. |
Hi Kevin, Could you please install this email audit plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/email-log/ Then could you try resending two or three notifications? From there, please take a look at the log to let me know if anything is recorded. — |

Thanks Lorenzo – manually sending the registration information worked fine. It seems the emails aren’t being triggered properly during registration? |
Hi Kevin, Could you go to the settings page for Messages and turn them off and then turn them back on? — |

Hi Lorenzo – here’s what I had to do to get things working. In another support message, I talked about how I had problems with EE holding onto the eventespresso.tmp directory name. I deactivated EE, renamed the directory to event-espresso-core-reg. In PHPMyAdmin, I removed the ee options entry in wp_options (after backing up, of course). I had to reset a few things, but when I reactived the plugin, all of the messages appeared properly in the Messages screen (it had previously been blank). Looks like we’re good to go. Thank you! |
Hi Kevin, Thank you for reporting what you found. That was most helpful. |
