EE4.2.3: the transaction time is incorrect

The time zone for our transactions is incorrect. For example, a member purchased his ticket at 10:10AM today and the time stamp on his transaction in EventEspresso is 5:10PM… However, the WP timezone is set correctly to Los Angeles, but EE picks up the time either of the server or UTC

How can we fix this?

Hello,

Have you noticed this with other registrations as well?

Could you add a new registration (any event is fine) through the backend and let us know if you see the same issue?

WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> Events. Then hover over an event name and click on Registrations. Then click on the add new registration button.

Yes, this happens with all registrations. This is what I have discovered. When I open to review the single transaction – the time is correct. However, on the table of ALL transactions, in the column TXN Date the time is incorrect.

Hello,

I actually happened to be doing some testing on two different test sites today.

This one is for Florida:

…and this one is for Denver:

The dates/times in the database are stored as UTC and then they are converted based on the setting in WP-admin –> Settings –> General.

When you view your transactions in Event Espresso, are any of them correct for Los Angeles?

And if you temporarily switch to a different timezone city, do they all change to reflect that?

BTW: Sorry for all the questions, just trying to pinpoint where this is coming from.
